Your shoes and your dolls are amazing. I have a question...I noticed you'd done a test using liquache and a composition slip. Is there any particular reason you prefer using porcelain for your finished dolls?
I've thought about trying either the liquache or compo slip but am concerned about their ability to hold paint or their durability.
Have you had a positive experience with either of these mediums?
The liquache and compo slip were used for my prototypes but I had always planned to use porcelain for my final doll. I did have a difficult time painting the compo slip as nothing would stick to the surface.

Nothing compares to porcelain.
